Helpful Information for Accessing Ministry of Labour’s Services
The Ministry of Labour (MOL) has the power and duties to manage and protect the labour, develop workers’ skills, and promote employment for the general public, as well as to perform other duties as stipulated by the laws to be the mandate of the Ministry or of any department under the Ministry. According to the Ministries, Bureau, and Department Revision Act B.E. 2545 (2002), which came into force on 3 October 2002, the MOL comprises of 6 Departments. These include the Office of the Minister, the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Department of Employment, Department of Skill Development, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, and the Social Security Office. Different services provided to the general public by these authorities are as follows:
Central Level Departments
Office of the Minister

Office of the Permanent Secretary

Department of Employment

Department of Labour Protection and Welfare
