Mr. Teerapol Khunmuang, Director of Central Administration Bureau, revealed that MOL collaborated with Thai Cambodian Joint Boundary Commission, House of Representative, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Industry, Tourism Authority of Thailand and Lions Foundation Club of Thailand in arranging the 1st Great Mekong Sub-region caravan trip to strengthen relationship among Thai-Lao-Vietnam along Nakorn Panom, Kwangbin, Hanoi, Danang, Hoianm Sawanakhet, Mukdahan between 15-20 February 2010 On 15 February 2009, the embarking ceremony of caravan would be held at King Chulalongkorn Statute at 4.30 pm. The participants shall be responsible for following expenses in joining the caravan which are car expenses for 20,000 baht/person excluding fuel charge in case of driving personal car, and 25,000 baht per person including fuel charge in case of travel with van. As part of vehicle fee for 3 counties totally 6,500 baht/ car will be paid by the caravan. The required documents are passport with at least 6 months before expiration date with 2 copies, 2 copies of driving licenses, 2 copies of motor vehicle registration (attached with proxy in case of the registration as other person’s name) and adhesive tape for peeling coachwork. This caravan trip will open for registration from13 November 2009 to 10 January 2010 due to at least 30 days of approval for driving car out of realm.
