Mr. Phaithoon Kaeothong, Ministry of Labour, revealed that central registrar has suspended the oversea employment licenses of Kao Song Oversea Development Co.,Ltd located at 278/1-2, Suthisarnvinitchai Road, Samsainnok, Huaykwang, Bangkok, in which its oversea employment license will be expired on 16 July 2010. It appears that around April-September 2009, the company received service fees and expenses from Miss Bangorn Reantaisong and her friends totally 18 people for 20,000-144,000 baht, amounted to 865,800 baht in total so as to send them to work in Taiwan but the company finally did not send them to work as agreed. The company fails to register employee and employment licenses in presence of the registrar and fails to issue the job seekers a receipt as prescribed in Job Seeker Protection and Employment Act. The company violated the provisions of Employment and Job Seeker Protection Act B.E. 2528 amended by Job Seeker Protection Act No.2 B.E.2537, Article 15 paragraph 1 and Article 47 for charge of fail to register employee and employment agent to the registrar and Article 27 paragraph 2 and Article 47 for charge of fails to issue the job seekers a receipt as prescribed by Director-General. In virtue of Article 69 of Employment and Job Seeker Protection Act B.E.2528, the central registrar therefore ordered to suspend oversea employment license of the Kao Song Oversea Development Co.,Ltd for 60 days. In this regard, the company is entitled to appeal to the cabinet within 30 days from the date of the order was made. |
