MOL makes ready for International Woman Day by arranging the meeting of subcommittee for selecting the outstanding working woman.

                    MOL by Department of Labour Protection and Welfare organized the 1st /2009 meeting of subcommittee for selecting the outstanding-working woman for the year 2010 so as to consider the guideline for selecting the outstanding working woman of the year 2010.
                    Mrs. Umporn Nitisiri, Director-General to Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, stated that the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare prepared to organize International Woman Day on 8 March 2010 under the title “Female workers figure economic and manufacturing achievement” at Field Marshal Por Piboonsongkram conference room and at the downstairs area of MOL building. The main activities are selecting the outstanding working woman to be awarded trophy and certificate of honor, honoring working women exhibitions and other activities for sustainably and usefully promoting and developing female worker. In this regard, Her Royal Highness Princess Srirasm, the royal consort to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn is invited to presided over granting trophy for the outstanding working woman 2010. The Department of Labour Protection and Welfare therefore arranged 1st /2009 meeting of subcommittee for selecting the outstanding working woman of the year 2010 chaired by Mrs. Patchara Choomrat, The subcommittee is consisted of representatives from related state and private authorities which functions to consider guidelines for selecting the outstanding working women with same the qualification and selection criteria as those of 2009 and 1 additional prize for the best guidance teacher who passed the labour protection network establishment training course arranged by Department of Labour Protection and Welfare. Besides, the prize for the outstanding female actress has been changed to the prize for the outstanding female artist so as to broaden the qualification criteria of candidates to be covered well-known female actress or signer who succeeds in the career, being a role model and contributes to the society. In this regard, the Department requires relevant authorities to seek the outstanding working woman 2010 by submitting their name list and personal information within 22 January 2009.
