SSO breaks in northeast provinces to publicize social security activities in Khonkan.

          Social Security Office visited northeast provinces, Khonkan, to open public discussion of the project of “ Social Security activity Public Relations for the insured person” so as to confer and exchange knowledge between employers, employees and local presses to enlighten the insured about rights and benefits, also hear the problems and suggestions for further improvements.
          Social Security Office organized the 6th project of “Social Security activity Public Relations for the insured person” 2009 on 24 December 2009 at Khonkan Poolman Racha Orchid Hotel, Khonkan by opening public discussion along with exchanging knowledge on legal issues and benefits from compensation fund and social security fund with guest lecturers, consisted of administrators of SSO, representatives of employer and regional employee. The public discussion is telecasted on TVT 11 (Television of Thailand Channel 11), Khonkan. The employers, employees, the insured and local presses of 9 provinces namely Nakornratchasrima, Chaiyaphom, Nhongbualampoo, Udorntani, Loey, Nongkai, Mahasarakham, Karasin and Sakonnakorn, were invited to participate in public discussion in order to be informed information in connection with SSO activities such as registration of the employee and the insured, contribution collection, compensation payment and benefits according to compensation law and social security law, rehabilitation of employees and the insured with disability due to accident or sickness in order to be able to return to work as appropriated, medical services for the employees under social security project, and to open for public suggestions and comments on social security problems. SSO would take all information into consideration in order to improve better social security benefits for the insured.
          However, Social Security Office wishes this project could enhance knowledge and understanding of benefits entitlement of social security for employers, employees and local presses to enable them to legally comply with Social Security Law and compensation fund including paying contribution with willingness so as to prevent losing one’ rights due to inapprehensive of social security system. In addition, SSO wishes the project will be intermediary of social security public information to serve the insured thoroughly and to be SSO networks causing SSO to be creative organization and life assurance.
