On 22 February 2010, Mr.Somkiat Chayasriwong, Deputy Permanent Secretary of MOL presided at the assistance-agreement signed between Mr. Pongsak Plengsang, and Mr.Tawat Surinkhum, advisor of Minister of Labour, representatives of MOL, and employee group of Bodies Fashion (Thailand) C0.,Ltd. The assistance consists of 250 sewing machines to support employees to get a job and to enhance the labour skill at the same time. Mr.Somkiat Chayasriwong said that the former employee of Body Fashion (Thailand) Co., Ltd. accepted the 250 sewing machines in order to later distribute to members within the group at the Samutprakarn Institute for Skill Development within March 17, 2010. In addition, the representative of the former employees can inspect the assembling of sewing machine at the Samutprakarn Institute for Skill Development from March 5, 2010 until the delivery date on March 17, 2010. Additionally, the Ministry of Labour representatives also support those former employees in increasing skill level and skill testing. For loan resources, there will be coordination with monetary agencies to provide loans under the conditions of the financial institutions. The coordination will be arranged by February 26, 2010 at the Ministry of Labour. The Ministry of Labour notified those former employees to leave the Ministry of Labour by February 28, 2010. They acknowledged and planned to set up the press conference on February 22, 2010 at 1030, at the Ministry of Labour. However, those agreed to return back home during February 20 - 28, 2010, will receive support from the Ministry of Labour in arranging transportation to transfer from Ministry of Labour to SamutPrakan. |
