Department of Labour Protection and Welfare arranged the project on enhancing knowledge of AIDs-response Standard Organization and AIDS and TB-response Standard Organization in order to create understanding on AIDs prevention and enhance officials of DLPWs capacity. The project will be arranged on 24-26 February 2010 during 09.00am.-4.00 pm. at Bangkok Palace Hotel, Bangkok. Mr.Peerapat Pornsirilertkit, Deputy Director-General of DLPW, stated that AIDs situation in labour age population has presently been estimated to be 85% of AIDs infected people which is regarded as the key personnel to develop Thai society and economy. As part of tuberculosis, Thailand is at 17th world ranking of the country with highest number of AlDs infected population which has adversely effected to working capacity in terms of physical and mental aspect, mostly importantly, it risks at death of labour age population In 2010, there were 1,541 workplaces from 57 provinces were evaluated to renew ASO Thailand and ASO-T Thailand targeted to 1 group of 50 officials of DLPW whose functions are relevant to Aids and tuberculosis affairs of DLPW in the areas where have not been trained in order that the attendants would be able to give an advice about systemization and monitoring in workplaces. |
