Insured persons filed claims for unemployment benefits as of February 2010

         According to filing a claim for unemployment benefits by insured persons as of 1-28 February 2010, there were 43,087 people who enrolled in lay-off and resignation lists, and 25,928 people were successfully employed.
          MOL revealed the result of unemployed benefits from DOE nationwide and Bangkok DOE area 1-10 during 1-28 February 2010 claimed by insured persons. The service included registering insured person’s name on the lay-off or resignation list to file a claim for unemployment benefits, providing recruitment opportunities, offering professional advices, organizing vocational trainings, and assisting insured persons to report themselves to the authority in accordance with unemployment benefits’ regulation. In this time, there were 9,342 people registered in laid-off list and 33,745 people in resignation list which are 43,087 people in total. However, 25,928 people were successfully employed by Subdivision of Agriculture Promotion and Office of Community Enterprise Promotion, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.
