Taiwan and China are ready to sign MOU on financial cooperation

                 The China Post on 7th and 8th November 2009 said that both sides are now actively negotiating for mutual benefits before signing MOU on cross-strait financial supervision cooperation as well as direct investment bank, security and stability in the end of June 2009. In addition, accessing to the market, intellectual property protection, green energy development and culture and information and education exchanges will be discussed at the fifth round 2010 under Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement : ECFA, similar to free trade agreement which Taiwan attempts to sign with many countries.
