 Permanent Secretary to MOL insists that the appointing of officials is justified

On 13 November 2009, Mr. Somchai Choomrat, Permanent Secretary of MOL, addressed the issue raised by the presses regarding request for justification since the officials requests Minister of Labour to open for examination for the position of Deputy Director-General and Deputy Secretary General totally 7 position.
Mr. Somchai further addressed that such position has not been considered therefore if any one feel unfair, they can file petition. Also, he elucidated that the committee would conjointly consider appointing Deputy Director General and Deputy Secretary General. The committee consists of savants, retired-senior government officials, representatives of Civil Service Commission and relevant experts. Consequently, the procedure stands on reasons and rational. In this regard, the officials probably emphasizes on seniority but it is not rule of thumps for selecting people. Reminding that HRM (Human Resource Management) means Human Resource Development in which MOL shall be prepare to further plan labour forces. He insists that MOL uphold justice to all officials on basis of rational and clear explanations. |
