 Permanent Secretary of MOL granted a certificate of intensive labour-based rehabilitate program to foreigners.

                       Mr.Somchai Choomrat, Permanent Secretary, revealed that International Labour Organization (ILO) had a policy to aid disabled workers. In relation to this issue, Thailand has bounded to promote the implementation of mentioned policy and Thailand asked for the assistance from Japan Government through Japan International Coordination Agency (JICA) to establish rehabilitation center. In this regard, Japan government provided a subsidy for construction and machines and equipments. The rehabilitation center has experienced in training for labour-based rehabilitation program for 4 years with 26 trainees from different regional countries in total. The course takes 3 months period. The trainees who are granted the certificate of this course are Dr.Herdiman Bernardper, Indonesia, Mrs.Melatiratimanchiri from Indonesia, Mr. Boonpamit Somvichit from Indonesia, Mrs. Chansuk Intachak from Loas, Mrs. Pranom Pupa from Loas, Mrs. Sangaroon Sayasarn from Loas, Mrs. Kin Tunda from Myanmar and Mr. Trong Won gna fromVietnam.
                “This training program offers an opportunity to attendants to meet new friends which is significant network for future career”
                 The mentioned training program aims to enhance skills, knowledge and experiences in rehabilitation process as well as to exchange knowledge in complete rehabilitation among experts and competent lecturers Asian countries which would bring about more comprehension, also provides field trip, discussion and presentation among the trainees.
