 Brunei Office of Labour warns Thai workers to take precaution on catching fishes and aquatic animals alone

                    According to recent news in Thailand that crocodiles were found in National Park which might attacked on people, similarly in Brunei, since mid of August 2009 to September 2009, it appeared that male, whose age around 45 years, a fisherman has lost while catching fish at dusk and the boy with 4 years of age has lost while swimming. In addition, several people were bitted and injured. Brunei authorities, therefore, mobilized to comb through and hunted crocodile to prevent further harmful. Even though, several could be hunted but plenty of them are still exist. The discovered areas are Tutong district, Belait district and other riverbank area which sea water can be accessible.
              Brunei Office of Labour, Thai Embassy, therefore, informs Thais and Thai workers to take precaution to avoid building residence near riverbank of said area and avoid catching fishes and aquatic animals alone at night or near crocodile’s area. Any area is found crocodile, please inform the police or state agent of Brunei for your safety.
